Why have Love The Oceans and Green Planet Beauty decided to work together?
At Green Planet Beauty we are passionate about environmental causes, our aim as a company is to encourage people to limit their plastic waste by looking for alternative products that are free from plastic. Of the 260 million tons of plastic the world produces each year, about 10 percent ends up in the Ocean killing marine life. We wholeheartedly support what Love The Oceans is doing to protect marine life in Jangamo Bay, Mozambique. This is vital work and should be encouraged and supported. We can all make a difference and play a role in protecting our planet and all that inhabit it.
So… what is Green Planet Beauty?
As we all know plastic is having a detrimental effect on our planet and our sea life with over 5 trillion pieces of plastic floating around in our Oceans.
The largest market for plastic waste is packaging in which the beauty industry play a huge part. Most of it never gets recycled and the amount that’s does will eventually still end up in landfill or the sea, as it can only we recycled upto 7 times.
We started Green Planet Beauty to make a difference and to be part of the wave of change on this massive environmental issue.
With our 10 years experience in the beauty industry, we developed the very best natural cruelty free and vegan friendly products that harness the power of nature to create the ultimate in skin and hair care products.
We then worked hard to find a suitable containers to house our amazing products and after testing various biodegradable alternatives, we finally found the perfect solution with our 100% biodegradable, reusable and recyclable packaging.
We are extremely passionate about this cause and it’s something that needs to be taken seriously as we can’t continue turning a blind eye at the plastic crisis this planet is currently dealing with.
