We’re currently recruiting for two marine biologist roles for our 2022 season.

Love The Oceans is a lean start-up non-profit marine conservation organisation about to head into our 8th year of operation in Mozambique. Yay! We are looking for smart, educated, passionate Marine Biologists who want to work hard in a spectacular location with stunning megafauna.

We’re looking to recruit two seasonal staff members and an intern for 2022. Click on the job titles to download the full description:

Research Program Venture Leader: 1st August – 24th October 2022. This is the most senior role next to senior management and has the potential for a more long term role in future years.

Conservation Adventure Program Venture Leader: 23rd May – 15th August 2022. This role is a little mixed as you’ll be assisting our founder in the first 5 weeks on our research programs and then switch to running two of our three-week Conservation Adventure Programs.

Intern: 26th June – 18th September 2022. This role encompasses so many different activities. This is a great role for a recent graduate or someone who is still studying. This will prepare you for future field staff roles and you’ll learn the internal workings of a conservation NGO. This role could vary from data collection, to community meetings to grant writing or giving lectures. At the moment this role is only open to past volunteers and interns. There’s no job description for this, if you’re interested just reach out.

If you’re interested in any of the above roles and meet the criteria (please download the job descriptions before you enquire) please submit your CV and a cover letter explaining your interest by February 7th 2022.

Oh you’re a dive instructor you say? Well our PADI 5* and Green* centre is looking for some more incredible instructors to join our dive family. Click here to find out more about that.
